About MAJAL
MAJAL is a design school based in Beirut, Lebanon, offering three certificates of completion and multiple courses in design and creation. Our certificates include Jewelry Making, Textile Design and Business Growth.
Established in 2018 and having serviced 1000+ students, MAJAL is a mission-driven school. Our target is to facilitate career opportunities in Lebanon by empowering people through real-world readiness and skill-first approach.
To maximize our impact, we espouse a micro-education approach: Our expert instructors deliver higher education curricula in a workshop setting. Our classes are designed to to help you establish your own design business: Six-week courses instill students with solid technical skills, advanced design thinking and entrepreneurial, growth-based reasoning.
THE BOUTIQUE
Our inhouse boutique showcases the work of our students and instructors. More than 50 designers display their beautiful creations, including accessories, apparel, home décor, artworks and gifts for babies.
The boutique is our sustainability arm. It helps our students and instructors sell their work. It is also an educational project; it teaches the world that, contrary to conventional wisdom, one can make a living selling art and design.
